Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Next Team Talent LLC (“Next Team Talent,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information through our website at nextteamtalent.com, our online candidate assessments, and our recruiting, leadership development and consulting services.
1. Who we are
Next Team Talent LLC is a Minnesota limited liability company that works with businesses throughout the United States. We provide recruiting and talent evaluation consulting, leadership development and coaching, team and professional development, and organizational leadership consulting.
Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@nextteamtalent.com.
2. Information we collect
Prospective clients and website visitors
When you submit our website inquiry form, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:
- Your name, work email address, company name and job title
- The number of employees at your organization
- The type of services you are interested in
- Information about your needs, such as a position you are hiring for, an estimated salary range, the number of managers or participants involved, timing, and any message you include
We also receive information when you email us or book a consultation. Consultation scheduling is handled through a Google Calendar booking page, and the details you enter there (such as your name and email address) are shared with us so we can hold the meeting.
Candidates
As part of a specific recruiting engagement, we may collect:
- Your name and contact information
- Professional experience, qualifications and employment history, including a résumé if you provide one
- Your responses to our online candidate assessment (the RoleReady Assessment), along with when you completed it
- A record that you acknowledged our candidate notice before starting the assessment, including when you did so and which version of the notice you saw
- Information from conversations and interviews with our team, including your answers to follow-up questions and our notes and ratings
- Other information you voluntarily provide during the recruiting process
Our candidate assessments are not an open, publicly advertised application platform. We send assessment links directly to selected candidates as part of specific recruiting engagements.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. This is used to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. Some pages also load typefaces and a software library from third-party servers, which receive similar technical information (see Section 5).
We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, behavioral advertising trackers or website analytics tools.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries from prospective clients
- Schedule consultations and business meetings
- Provide recruiting, talent evaluation, leadership development and consulting services
- Communicate with employers and candidates
- Review candidate qualifications and assessment responses
- Prepare candidate profiles and recommendations for the employer associated with a recruiting engagement
- Maintain business records and meet legal obligations
- Protect our website and services and improve how we deliver them
4. How candidate evaluation works
Candidate assessment responses are personally reviewed, analyzed and summarized by Next Team Talent.
- Scoring. Each RoleReady Assessment is built for a specific role. When you submit it, a fixed scoring method (a set formula, not artificial intelligence) converts your answers into a strengths profile. Our team reviews that profile together with your answers, experience and interviews. At the end of the assessment you will see your own top strengths, based on how you described the way you work.
- No automated decisions. We do not use artificial intelligence to automatically score, rank or reject candidates, and no automated tool makes hiring decisions. Final hiring decisions are always made by the employer.
- AI-assisted drafting. We use an AI service (Claude, provided by Anthropic) at our direction to help draft assessment questions and other written materials. We may also use it to help draft a written candidate summary. When we do, we send the role title, your assessment strength scores, your answers to follow-up interview questions and our ratings. We do not send your name or contact information. Every AI-assisted draft is reviewed and edited by our team before it is shared with an employer. Information from our website inquiry form is not sent to AI services.
5. How we share information
Next Team Talent LLC does not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
We share information only as follows:
- With the employer for a specific engagement. We share relevant candidate information, such as your profile, assessment results, our evaluation and recommendations, with the employer associated with the recruiting engagement you are being considered for.
- With service providers that help us operate our business, under their own terms and privacy commitments:
- Supabase stores website inquiries, candidate assessment responses and recruiting records, and provides secure sign-in for our team.
- Cloudflare hosts our website and processes connection information to deliver and protect it.
- Google Workspace provides our business email. Google Calendar provides our consultation booking page. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on our website, so your browser requests them from Google's servers.
- jsDelivr delivers a software library used by our forms, assessments and staff workspace, so your browser requests it from jsDelivr's servers.
- Anthropic provides the AI service we use for drafting, as described in Section 4.
- For legal reasons, when we believe it is required by law, legal process or a government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Next Team Talent, our clients, candidates or others.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
6. Cookies and browser storage
Our website code does not set cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the website from abuse. We use your browser's local storage in two limited ways:
- Candidate assessments. The assessment saves your name, email address, progress, answers and acknowledgment of our candidate notice in your browser's local storage on your own device. This lets you pick up where you left off and helps avoid duplicate submissions. This information stays on your device until you clear your browser data. If you use a shared computer, we recommend clearing your browser data when you finish.
- Staff sign-in. Our team's secure sign-in to our private workspace stores a session token in the browser.
Third-party services we link to, such as our Google Calendar booking page, may use their own cookies under their own policies.
7. How long we keep information
- Candidate information. We record the date each recruiting engagement concludes. Candidate information from that engagement becomes due for review 12 months later. At that point our team reviews the records and deletes them, unless a longer period is required by applicable law or necessary for legitimate legal obligations, such as record-keeping requirements, resolving disputes or a legal hold. We do not keep candidate information indefinitely. We will only contact you about unrelated future opportunities with your permission.
- Prospective client inquiries. We keep inquiries for up to 24 months after our last communication with you, then review and delete them, unless the inquiry becomes part of a client engagement or must be kept for legal reasons.
- Client records. We keep records related to client engagements for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Deletions are carried out by our team after review. They are not automated. We keep a basic log of deletions, recording the date and the team member who performed each one, which does not include the deleted personal information.
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. Access to candidate and inquiry information is limited to authorized members of our team through secure sign-in, and database access rules prevent the public parts of our website from reading stored records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@nextteamtalent.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within a reasonable time and within any period required by applicable law.
We may keep certain information when we are legally required or permitted to, for example to meet record-keeping obligations or resolve disputes. If we cannot fully honor a request, we will explain why.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy law. Whether those laws apply depends on our business and the information involved. We will honor the rights that apply to you.
Candidates may decline to complete an assessment. Doing so may affect our ability to consider you for a particular opportunity.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other websites
Our website may link to websites and services we do not control, such as our consultation booking page. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle your information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice when required by law, for example by a notice on our website or by email.
